Acts 1:14
14 They all joined together constantly in prayer, along with the women and Mary, the mother of Jesus, and with his brothers.
I read this during some bible study, and it really resonated with me because, since coming back to my faith and living it and getting grounded in a church family, my prayer life has been at the forefront.
Praying over simple things in the presence of my wife, praying over big things with my wife, sending voice notes to friends and people in my church family, praying for healings, blessings and protection.
Constantly throughout the gospels, it says Jesus went into a quiet place and prayed, and we really need to take this advice and implement it into our lives. Anything that happens, we need to take it to prayer first and foremost.
Prayer changes atmospheres, attitudes and situations. Praying into these things matter and God always listens. Just because he may not answer it when we want or how we want doesn't mean he's not listening. God's will and timing are important to take into account.
