The gentle breeze glides over the park disturbing the grass ever so slightly and now and then the gusts let you know February isn’t over just yet.
Dog walkers about happy not to be in rain proof wear and letting the glimpse of sun keep them company on the daily chore.
Blokes outside the pub standard Saturday routine smoke before the 3pm kick offs and drink up before the midnight kick outs, the only Saturday they know.
Kids on bikes, couples on walks standard weekend events, the sunshine uplifting everyone’s state of mind and mood and showing that around the corner will be shorts and t-shirt weather.
Ice cream in the afternoon, bbq in the evening. Jump in the sea, kick a footy about everyone’s smiling because summer is about.
But that is on the horizon and on days like this it doesn’t seem too far away but let that chill in the air remind you that brighter days are on the way.
