Who Cares for the Caregiver?
There’s often one person in every group who quietly looks after everyone else.
The one who remembers birthdays, checks in when someone goes quiet, hosts the gatherings, notices when something is wrong, or remembers the little things everyone else forgets.
They give emotionally, physically, and mentally, often asking for very little in return.
Yet they’re often the ones who wonder why no one checks on them.
It’s an easy thing to overlook in a world that can become so focused on itself. Caregivers are rare, but they need care too.
So who is looking after them?
And perhaps a better question is: will you?
Send them a message. Make a thoughtful gesture. Ask how they’re really doing. Let them know they’ve been seen.
I don’t think you’ll regret it.
